These are the standard Adidas lifting model. Got the blue because it was significantly cheaper than other colours - but these are excellent shoes for squatting, and also for pressing and OL. All the adidas lifting shoes are very similar, so get a pair you can afford and expect them to last. My last pair lasted seven years - with very heavy wear - and if I'd been more disciplined about changing so I only wore them in the gym, they'd have lasted a decade no problem. Anyone who is lifting at any level of seriousness should have a pair of these.I needed a more stable training shoe for squats and deadlifts so I did a bit of research to find what looks to be best and these Adidas trainers came highly recommended. They are brilliant for doing squats and deadlifts, far more stable and solid when pressing. Really nice looking and quality seems really good only time will tell though. Bit expensive compared to the average run-of-the-mill gym shoe but worth it IMO.Delivery seems kinda slow considering Amazon advised that they had been dispatched, but Royal Mail didn't actually receive them until days later.I was sceptical about spending £50+ on a pair of shoes for squats and deads.Idiot - should have bought them years ago.Really set your feet up properly, I use them for bench and overhead press too.Definitely helped my squat & dead numbers. Get them.Awful. No support in the foot arche. Very small fit. Cant be used for running or boxing. Only for static lifts. Very narrow range of use. Avoid for anything but static lifts.A great pair of shoes and very pleased with them.Squats & deadlifts have never been better ?.Fit is good and arrived quickly.Very impressed.
